 In the United States. According to a report by the National Association of Manufacturing and Deloitte, the U.S. will need to fill 3.5 million STEM jobs by 2025, with over 2 million of them remaining unfilled due to a lack of highly skilled candidates in demand. 

This shortage poses considerable risks to the country’s digital transformation and economic growth. Efforts to improve STEM education and workforce development are crucial to address this challenge and ensure that U.S. firms have the skilled workforce needed for domestic production, supply chain management, cybersecurity, data analytics, and innovation.
